Tarang Sangini II
You speak through steps, I speak through sound,
Somehow, we meet on common ground.
Not in grace, not in stance,
But in the rhythm of our dance.
Your rhythm flows, my notes respond,
A teasing fight, a lifelong bond.
You storm, I listen, I sing, you move,
A perfect misfit, locked in groove
The sun carves paths upon the floor,
Where our footprints meet and blur once more.
You spin in gold, I step in grey,
Yet still, our echoes drift and stay.
Soon the lights will dim, the curtains will fall,
The echoes of college will fade from the hall.
But in every rant, in every cheer,
I’ll know you’re always near.
