The images selected draw on private performance, talisman-like objects and other elements found on or near the site. In this two-part installation located above the north and south entrance to the sanctuary, a woman's hands opened in a Christ-like gesture of supplication, offer congregants and viewers the threshold gifts of marking stone and animal bone.
