Site photography by Cathy Carver

The image selected for this project gives evidence of immersion and response to the site and the community. The main focus is on presence and wonder. Housed on the surface of the window glass above the main entrance, the transparent photograph is activated by the light of the sun, and much like stain glass, projects its content onto viewers and around the interior space of the museum foyer. In the evening, artificial light illuminates this image of raised hands, provoking response while simultaneously highlighting the museum's context.
